A. Welcome & Commitment

Meliqon is a loan calculation and repayment planning utility that helps users calculate estimated EMIs, create repayment schedules, and organize personal, car, and home loan records.

Meliqon does not provide, issue, broker, approve, or facilitate loans or credit, and it does not connect users with lenders or financial institutions.

We are committed to protecting your information and using it only as necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve Meliqon.

B. Data We Collect

• Loan Planning Data: Information you provide in the app, such as loan amount, interest rate, loan tenure, loan type, repayment information, and related planning details. This information is used to calculate estimated EMIs, generate repayment schedules, and provide loan planning and tracking features.
• Security Verification Data (Call Log Metadata): With your permission, Meliqon accesses limited call log metadata, such as call time, duration, and call status, solely to confirm that an automated voice-based OTP verification call is received on your device as part of the account verification process. Meliqon does not access, record, or store the content of your calls.
• Profile Management Data: You may optionally provide a profile photo using your device camera. This information is used only for profile and account identification purposes within the app.
• Approximate Location: Approximate location information may be collected only to determine whether Meliqon services are available in your region. Meliqon does not perform real-time location tracking for this purpose.
• Device Metadata: Basic device information, such as device model and operating system version, may be collected to support app performance, improve reliability, enhance security, and detect irregular activity.

C. How We Use Your Data

• Loan and EMI Planning: To calculate estimated EMIs, generate repayment schedules, organize loan records, and support repayment planning and tracking features.
• Security and Account Protection: To verify account access through automated voice OTP calls and help detect abnormal or unauthorized activity.
• App Operation and Improvement: To maintain app functionality, improve performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and improve the user experience.
• Regional Availability: To determine whether Meliqon services are available in your region using approximate location information.

D. Data Storage and Protection

We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or loss.

Information may be stored and processed on systems and infrastructure used to operate Meliqon. Access to personal information is limited to what is necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and support the app.

We do not sell your personal information.

E. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide Meliqon services or comply with applicable legal obligations. Deletion or account closure permanently removes your data from our systems.

F. Your Rights and Choices

You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time, subject to applicable law and the functionality available within Meliqon.

To delete your account, navigate to Me → Delete Account in the app. Once completed, all data linked to your account will be permanently removed.

You may also choose whether to grant optional device permissions. Certain features may not function properly if a permission required for that feature is not granted.

G. Voice OTP and Call Log Access

Meliqon uses Call Log access solely to verify that voice-based OTP calls are received on your device as part of the account verification process. We access only the minimum call metadata required for this function, such as call time, duration, and call status.

Meliqon does not access, record, or store the content of your calls. Call Log data is used only to support voice OTP verification and is not used for advertising or unrelated purposes.

H. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Meliqon, legal requirements, security practices, or data handling practices. When we make changes, the updated policy will be published at this page and the effective date will be updated where appropriate.
